SLM (pronounced Slim) Finally on the archive!
Combinig hard rock, blues, ska, punk, and reggae, they are the dankest, grooviest band out of... Orange County? No. Long Beach? No. They're from sconnie's neck of the woods of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are heavier than moe., but not as heavy as a band like yolk. There is a definitely a Sublime-like quality to them. This is most apparent in their lyrics which range from subjects such as smoking gonge, to black olives, to inappropriate touching in co-ed flag football. They have a nice groove, a nice edge to them, and have a great party band vibe to them.
This show was a good time, also my first attempt at laptop taping... I had a few technical difficulties but otherwise it turned out great.
